Black SIUE Students Create Media Production Company

In hopes of telling the stories of everyday people and the disenfranchised, a group of black College of Arts and Sciences students at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville have started an audio, video and sound production company.
Paragon Dynasty Media was founded to be a voice for those who have not had access in the past to production companies, according to LaShaunda Jordan. She co-founded the company with her husband, Mike Jordan, Ciara Bazile, and her sister, Lathosha Clark of Bedford, Texas. Paragon currently consists of seven SIUE students and Clark.
